How it works
Join the Discord
Our community, news, the install guide and help live there. Registration needs a Discord account in the server.
Register on this site
Verify your Discord with one click, then choose your account name (letters, numbers or underscores) and password, and answer two short questions.
Wait for approval
An admin reviews your application. When it is approved, your account exists, you get the Player role and our bot messages you. You can also check your application.
Install and log in
Download and open the Sol RO3 Launcher, choose your game folder in Settings, then click Install or Update. Once ready, click Launch and log in with the account name and password you registered.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Playing costs nothing, and nothing in the game is sold. Supporting the server is optional and only unlocks a few cosmetics.
Why do I need approval?
It keeps the server small and private: no bots, no gold sellers, and every account belongs to a member of our Discord.
Can someone take my name before I log in?
No. You choose your password when you register, and approval creates your account with it. Nobody else can claim the name.
Where do I check my application?
On the Application status page, with the account name and password you registered. Our Discord bot also messages you when it is decided.
What do I need?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC. The Sol RO3 Launcher downloads the game files (about 24 GB) or finds your existing installation, then keeps your Sol RO3 fixes updated.
Will I lose my characters?
No. Characters live in the server database and are backed up every day. New builds never wipe them.
I forgot my password.
Ask in #help. An admin resets it, and your next login sets a new one.
